DRAWING inspiration from 70s beauty, with the era’s focus on fresh-faced, soft-dewy complexion for a no-makeup makeup look, Chanel Beauty Director Lucia Pica presents her creative vision for the Chanel AW20 show at PFW.

The show is comprised of two main looks – a natural finish and a second, with the same base, but an added touch of glamour. Describing her process for creating the looks, Pica reveals her step-by-step instructions for achieving this flawless base, ” I used the blush of the PALETTE ESSENTIELLE (Beige Médium) very high on the cheeks and blended it down, giving the idea of a natural blush. I really enjoyed using the BAUME ESSENTIEL (Transparent) because it gives a feeling of dewiness to the look. It brings a really modern and natural feel which is very effective and light reflecting.”
Finally, lips are topped with the ROUGE COCO GLOSS Aphrodite, for a subtle but elegant finish.
