EMBRACE the vigour of spring with the re-launch of The Langham Savoury Afternoon Tea, renowned as the birthplace of the teatime tradition. After its successful debut back in 2015, The Langham, Hong Kong have specifically tailored an afternoon of indulgence and decadence for those who lack a craving for sweet treats.
Conscious that “diners are more health-conscious nowadays”, the hotel’s Culinary Director Cesare Romani seeks to impress diners with an innovative, seasonal twist for guests to enjoy amid “the exquisite dining experience in the elegant setting.”

The Langham Savoury Afternoon Tea
Retaining an element of tradition, savoury delicacies are elegantly served on the classic three-tier silver stand, inviting guests to try the tantalising flurry better known as the Vegetable garden. Baby carrots, carrot purée and black olive forge a colourful palette, while the middle tier boasts a British Mini Beef Pie, accompanied by creamy Duck Liver Terrine with toasted brioche, fig and red wine compote and a Mini Lobster Roll with lemon mayo and remoulade.

Other highlights include Puffed Baguette with caviar, smoked salmon and sour cream, Voul-Au-Vent with green asparagus, quail egg and black truffle, in addition to the exotic Sicilian Arancini with Green Pea, Mozzarella and Tomato crafted by the Italian chef.
Invigorating Exotic and English flower tea blends delicately complement the warm selection of scones derived from the Palm Court’s very own bakery, served with Devonshire clotted cream, strawberry jam and rose preserve to entice just a pinch of sweetness. The signature Mango Mille-Feuille will conclude your lavish afternoon, comprising caramelised layers of flaky puff pastry accompanied by vanilla diplomat cream and piquant mango.
