Guerlain La Ruche site produces hand sanitiser to help tackle the coronavirus crisis
FRENCH luxury conglomerate LVMH has converted their Guerlain production site of La Ruche in Chartres, France to prioritise the production of hand sanitiser.
In alliance with the company’s perfume manufacturing facilities of Christian Dior and Givenchy, thie hydro-alcoholic gel is being produced in massive quantities and delivered free of charge to the French health authorities and to the AP-HP, Paris’ public hospital network.
“Through this initiative, LVMH intends to help address the risk of a lack of product in France and enable a greater number of people to continue to take the right action to protect themselves against the spread of the virus,” the firm said.
LVMH will continue making the gel for “as long as necessary, in connection with French health authorities”, in aid of helping France continue to combat and tackle the coronavirus crisis.
