THE fashion industry has taken the reins of keeping us entertained with content and initiatives being created daily. Today, marks the start of a weekly series by British menswear brand Dunhill called dunhill Community: Live. Hosted every Friday by Creative Director Mark Weston on their Instagram page at 16:00 GMT, this show will see Weston speak to those who have played a role or collaborated with the fashion house.
The series aims to inspire and entertain its audience through interviewing a range of collaborators from different artistic fields; incorporating the film, art, television and music world with the fashion world. Beyond educating those that will tune in, the Instagram Lives will offer an insight into Dunhill showing snippets of current projects, as well as a look into each guests interests and motivation.
At the core of Dunhill: Community Live is not just the aim of entertaining us during these unprecedented times, but to support CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) – Dunhill is making a donation to this charity that works with helping and improving men’s mental health.
Weston proudly states, “I am excited that these live discussions will enable us to connect with our audience; taking questions, supporting and showcasing those collaborators I am proud to call our community in new, organic and maybe some surprising ways.” This project launched last Friday at 16:00 GMT with British-Ghanaian rapper and artist Kojey Radical and will return tomorrow at the same time with art dealer Robin Katz.
