PAYING homage to its longest standing collaborations, Swarovski has teamed up with Alexandare Vautheir and embroidery house Lesage to craft meticulously embellished ready-to-wear pieces towards the couturier’s AW20 collection.

Swarovski has been a partner and crystal provider to Lesage since 1924, combining exceptional craftsmanship, innovation and creativity with regard to their shared passion for opulent embroidery.

World-renowned for his haute couture creations of extravagance and grandeur, Parisian designer Alexander Vauthier has been supported by Swarovski since 2012.
As part of their recurring partnership, Alexandre Vauthier showcased a Boléro jacket adorned with hand-sewn stones natural in colour and finely detailed motifs bestowed across the breast, cuffs and neck for a truly majestic finish.

Regal connotations were further emphasised by the unveiling of a translucent silk gown, loosely embellished with thousands of clear crystals cascading down the body from the straps to the hemline.
Swarovski’s connection to France’s Métiers d’art tradition dates back to 1895, in addition to the collaboration between founder Daniel Swarovski and the earliest stars of Paris’s haute couture industry.
