Jordan and Fragment Design present latest collection Future Nostalgia

In collaboration with the “Godfather of Harajuku”, Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment Design, Jordan has released its capsule collection, Future Nostalgia, an ode to American sportswear, through the lens of urban Japan.

1980‘s standard-issue looks are downplayed with a relaxed silhouette and minimal design. Be on the look out for unique iconography, embodying the collection’s feeling of nostalgia with a contemporary outlook on sportswear in a collection of tracksuits, hoodies, and jumpers.

In terms of footwear, Fujiwara dresses takes on classic sport colors with the Jordan XXXV; black, blue and white, while visible activewear technology for an ultra-wearable sneaker. On the shoe’s release, Fujiwara wonders about the impact of the collection on contemporary sportswear, stating, “It’s so different compared to older, vintage shoes. I like the innovations too […] Maybe these shoes will be a holy grail in 10 years, I don’t know.”
