Gieves & Hawkes unveils their AW20 campaign inspired by The Beatles

AT THE end of January 1969, The Beatles put on their last ever concert together as a band on the roof two doors down from No.1 Savile Row. Today, Gieves & Hawkes combines their longstanding history with the iconic occasion 50 years ago for their autumn-winter 2020 campaign.

Going on the rooftop to shoot the campaign was not only a nod to the band, but also provided a perfect view of the English capital. The old city was juxtaposed by the clean, contemporary suiting of the collection that collectively came together to feel somewhat James Bond-like – there is nothing more quintessentially English nor glamorous than that!

Creative Director Daniel Kearns took the premise of British tailoring born on Savile Row with two piece suits and the fashion forward concepts in today‘s men‘s outerwear with padded fabrics and tweed prints on nylon as well as cashmere blends to create a collection made for the modern man.

Taking both functionality and style at the root of the AW20 collection, the campaign takes it one step further by offering a look at the Gieves & Hawkes man that everyone wants to be.
