Louis Vuitton presents the Game On collection

UNVEILED during the cruise 2021 collection, Louis Vuitton presented Game On, the youthful, fun canvas that fused the classic Monogram flowers with the four suits in a deck of cards. Created by womenswear Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière, this exciting pattern is used to reimagine some of the French fashion house’s most iconic pieces across their leather goods, ready-to-wear and shoe collections.

Calling upon French actress and Louis Vuitton ambassador, Léa Seydoux to bring the Game On collection to life, the star embodies the fantasy that Ghesquière aimed to infuse with this new take on the classics.

The Game On canvas plays with the well-known Monogram by choosing either a black or white background with juxtaposing bright colours, like blue and red and replacing the LV signature blossom with a heart.

Notable pieces of the Game On collection are; the Monogram Heart Bag, being the first every heart-shaped bag produced by the brand in over a hundred and sixty years, the Neverfull bag is draped in a suit of cards, giant hearts and blossoms which are heightened with gold hardware; and, the sought-after Archlight trainers come in white leather and adorned with a simple red heart – perfect with the Paname bag!

The Game On capsule collection is an exciting chapter to add to the Louis Vuitton history as it references the beginnings of the brand. Known originally for making leather travelling trunks, the deck of cards was the perfect travel companion producing unlimited fun.

Now, it’s time to get your hands on Louis Vuitton’s royal flush!
