Co-founder and creative director of Tokyo-based AMBUSH®, Yoon Ahn is widely recognised for her unisex, innovative designs that merge luxury, fashion and jewellery together. Inspired by subcultures in the Japanese capital, this collaboration saw her draw inspiration from the city’s nightlife and bright lights.
“I live in the middle of Shibuya and I am always inspired by how the city just glows at nights time” explains Yoon, “I thought it would be really cool to design a product that could capture that same city energy when you’re outside late at night listening to music.”
To complement this exciting collaboration, the two creatives got Nigerian artist Burna Boy to star in the campaign video. The superstar discusses how music is a tool that can unify us all across the world. He continues to speak on the future, but more importantly the future generations in Africa, whom he says should be proud of who they are.
