To celebrate the coming of spring, Van Cleef & Arpels have unveiled their Lucky Spring jewellery collection – a gorgeous range of nature-inspired pieces defined by vibrant colour and expert craftsmanship.

Created in collaboration with designers and interior architects Céline Thibault and Géraud Pellottiero along with Kim Haddou and Florent Dufourcq – all recent award-winners at the Design Parade Toulon festival – the collection sees rose gold, mother-of-pearl, carnelian and onyx merge in delicate harmony.

A long necklace, three bracelets, a clip and a pair of earrings come adorned with elegant ladybug motifs, designed in a mood-lifting cherry-red hue.

“We wanted to create a triptych that would evoke the choreography of a ladybug,” said Thibault and Pellottiero. “The raw sculpture and the iridescent quality achieved by ennobling bas-relief cherry wood carvings create contrast effects while accentuating the delicacy of the rose gold.”

The joyful design appears alongside delicate plum blossoms and tasselled leaves in lily-of-the-valley rose gold, delicately reflecting every movement.

“We aspired to express a dreamlike vision of spring, awash in vibrancy and the promise of rebirth,” said Haddou and Dufourcq.
“Deeply inspired by the lush vegetation and the spirit of liberty and reawakening that characterise this joyous time of year, we wanted to pay tribute to nature’s poetry and metamorphoses, themes dear to Van Cleef & Arpels which are brilliantly illustrated in this Lucky Spring collection.”
