CHANEL has introduced Belgian singer-songwriter Angèle as the new face of the house’s Coco Beach 2021 Collection. The young musicians honeyed voice and optimistic spirit is reflected in each piece of the collection and overall aura of the presentation, resulting in her becoming the perfect ambassador for the attire.
The ready to wear line radiates Gabrielle Chanel’s passion for coastal retreats, the blazing heat and salty air of the seaside, opening her first boutique on Rue Gontaut-Biron in Deauville in 1913.
“This collection completely suits me: in the celebration of a free, relaxed allure, in the joie de vivre that it exudes. Nothing is more important to me than being comfortable. As it’s a summer collection, it gives you hope, you already want to be there,” Angèle remarked during the shoot for the collection.
The Chanel Coco Beach 2021 Collection with premier during May, presented in the seasonal Saint-Tropez boutique and the ephemeral boutique on Jeju Island in South Korea, before becoming available in a selection of Chanel boutiques around the world.
