DEFINED by architectural lines and glittering hardware, Matthew M Williams’ first bag launch for French fashion house Givenchy is set to become the most sought-after accessory of the summer.
The 4G – which immediately caught the attention of collectors and stylish women across the world when it debuted in the House’s Pre-Fall 21 collection – takes its name from Givenchy’s iconic emblem and blends leatherworking savoir-faire with the Creative Director’s signature clean aesthetics.

Working with Givenchy’s expert craftsmen, Williams hand-selected the finest, full-grain box calf skins in an array of rich colours, from avocado-green and baby-pink to cappuccino-beige and dark khaki.
Reflecting his love of industrial hardware, Matthews paired the supple material with meticulously worked clasps and fittings to elegant effect.

Available in two head-turning styles – a flap bag and a chain bag – each design boasts effortless versatility, seamlessly moving from clutch to shoulder or crossbody styles of wear.

The 4G flap bag comes with a soft, removable strap that can easily be adjusted thanks to discreet metal brackets. The 4G chain bag, on the other hand, features the House’s new, custom-made G-link chain in dazzling silver or gold-finished metal, with hoop fastenings that can be altered as desired.
