Al Mare opens at The Carlton Towers Jumeirah, London

AL MARE, the flagship all-day dining restaurant at The Carlton Towers Jumeirah, has just opened in London, bringing a slice of Italy into the heart of Belgravia. A separate street entrance on Cadogan Place draws the locals into their new neighbourhood eatery, as well as discerning hotel guests that typically book a table before they even check in.

To enjoy the British summertime, an expansive terrace directly across Cadogan Gardens gives patrons the chance to enjoy a cocktail or two outdoors, with the option to dine al fresco, weather permitting.

Check out the sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere and the efficient service provided by the slick, designer-attired team. Internationally renowned design studio 1508 London was appointed to transform the hotel, including Al Mare.

A large marble bar and separate cosy lounge area is the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks, with expansive windows flooding the room with masses of natural light.

The hotel’s Executive Chef and Al Mare’s Head Chef is Italian-native Marco Calenzo, who joined the hotel from the world renowned Zuma restaurant.

Classic Italian dishes with a light and modern twist feature on the comprehensive menu, with a choice of charcuterie and cheese, meat and fish dishes, and a section dedicated to pasta, handmade daily in the restaurant’s theatre kitchen.

Produce is either sourced locally or imported from favoured suppliers in Italy.

Al Mare Filetto di Manzo

The Al Mare wine cellar focuses on small producers showcasing the best of the Mediterranean, with a collection of Super Tuscans and Barolos, alongside a monthly selection of the sommelier’s favourite bottles. And there is a specially curated cocktail menu featuring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages alike.
