London’s legendary private members club Annabel’s hosts the inaugural Annabel’s for the Amazon charity event
CONCLUDING the month of September with a bang, Mayfair’s legendary private members club Annabel’s hosted its inaugural Annabel’s for the Amazon green-carpet charity event in a huge philanthropic drive to help save the Amazon rainforest.
Co-hosted by Winnie Harlow and Sabrina Elba for The Caring Family Foundation in partnership with the non-profit One Tree Planted, guests danced the night away with music by Chilean-Swiss DJ Luciano and iconic US duo The Martinez Brothers, while sipping at an exotic selection of Patrón-fuelled cocktails.
A mouth-watering assortment of nibbles were on offer at the glittering black tie event, from jalapeño and creamed avocado tostada, stone bass ceviche and mushroom and sweet potato tacos to Peruvian roasted chicken, josper corn and guava cheesecake, which guests enjoyed amid the club’s majestic interiors which had been gloriously transformed into a fully immersive Brazilian rainforest for the occasion.
Annabel’s for the Amazon marks an extraordinary commitment by The Caring Family Foundation to funding the reforestation of the Brazilian rainforest. Through this event, The Caring Family Foundation and One Tree Planted aim to plant one million trees by March 2023, which equates to approximately 600 hectares of forest restored, or the equivalent to 4.2 Hyde Parks.
