Dior relaunches Dior Addict – the ultra-couture lipstick
WHEN Dior originally introduced their Dior Addict upside-down lipstick, it was the first one of its kind and was envisioned as a fashion accessory. The must-have item from two decades ago, has now received a redesign under the guidance of Peter Philips, the creative and image director for Dior Makeup.
In this new reiteration of the beloved Dior Addict lipstick will leave it wearer with shiny lips like the original but has been reformulated with 90 per cent of natural-origin ingredients and floral lip care.
The iconic lipstick is now available in 40 beautiful shades, featuring classic as well as new original colours, such as the new Dior 8, a brick red lip shade.
The Dior Addict lipstick line comes in a lacquered, black vinyl case, showcasing a deconstructed Dior logo to hint at the product’s avant-garde origins. The celebrated lipstick is now available as a refill system which allows its wearer to choose each season if they prefer a timeless or a new runway-inspired case.
