Gucci unveils a major new Gucci Cosmos exhibition

GUCCI, the renowned Italian fashion house, is set to launch a major new exhibition titled Gucci Cosmos, showcasing some of the brand’s most iconic designs and pieces with a history spanning over a century.

The exhibition has been curated by Maria Luisa Frisa, a well-known Italian fashion critic and theorist, and comprises eight immersive worlds created by renowned British artist Es Devlin. These worlds will take the visitors on a journey through the decades and offer a unique, cutting-edge audio, visual, and kinetic experience.

The Gucci Cosmos features a vast collection of era-defining pieces from the Gucci Archive in Florence, which showcases the brand’s founder, Guccio Gucci’s creations, as well as the works of his successors, including Tom Ford, Frida Giannini, and Alessandro Michele. The display The exhibit illustrates the House’s core brand’s innovative ethos and how it has evolved to reflect and define modern culture.

Marking the first stop on Gucci’s world tour, the exhibition will begin on April 28 at the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai and continue till June 25.
