LOCATED in the heart of the Tsimshatsui district, The Langham Hong Kong offers guests an all-exclusive afternoon tea dining experience. Teaming up with the renowned American fashion brand, alice + olivia, The Langham hosts an afternoon tea to promote the launch of alice + olivia’s autumn-winter 2023 collection. The upcoming American Icon collection features colourful, innovative designs – all of which are carefully represented in their food and drink counterparts.
The afternoon tea boasts an impressive menu with food ranging from subtle savoury masterpieces to sparkling, sweet desserts. With dishes such as Shadows of Orange, a seasonal fruit gazpacho served alongside a shrimp skewer, the menu consists of a perfectly-balanced range of options. Another savoury delight, Freshness Favourite, consists of Japanese grape, sweet melon and Parma ham – an expertly-crafted assortment of natural, crisp ingredients.
For those with more of a sweet tooth, alice + olivia bring their brand mascot, Stace Face, to life in desserts such as the Classic StaceFace – a raspberry Stace Face presented with a delectable white chocolate macaron to provide ultimate sweetness. Additionally, the Rainbow Delight cake dessert mirrors the bright, vivid colours used in the upcoming AW23 collection. The brand finds intimate, discreet ways to further mirror details from pieces in the collection. The Sparkle Shine, a caramel apple tarte tatin, features pearls which echo those used throughout American Icon.
The beautifully curated food is served alongside equally special drinks. The Berries Temptation, made with strawberry, raspberry, lemon juice, sugar syrup, whipped cream and popcorn, is an explosion of flavour and the perfect companion to its savoury equivalents.
The alice + olivia x The Langham Afternoon Tea will be available from the 1st of August to the 30th of September at the Palm Court, The Langham Hong Kong. The tea is available from 3 pm to 5 pm every day and costs HK$398+10 per cent for one person.
